How to Measure for Your Net Curtains – Quick & Easy Guide
Measuring for your new nets or voiles is simple! Just follow these easy steps, and you’ll have your perfect net curtains ready to hang in no time.
1.Measure the Window
For net curtains, simply measure the inside recess width and desired drop with a tape measure.
2.Calculate Fabric Width
For a fuller look, net curtains need to be gathered. Here’s how much fabric you’ll need:
- Light Gather: 2 times the window width.
- Medium Gather: 2.5 times the window width.
- Full Gather: 3 times the window width.
For example, if your window is 100cm wide:
- Light gather: 200cm fabric
- Medium gather: 250cm fabric
- Full gather: 300cm fabric
3.Choose the Right Drop
